The Health and Quality Register Conference 2025 brings together medical and administrative professional environments, authorities, and management at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Bergen on 23rd—24th September.
The conference, organised by SKDE, FHI, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health, is an important arena for promoting inspiration, professional exchange, and updated knowledge about health registers.
International Perspective
A detailed programme is being prepared, but the main sessions are confirmed and will address several relevant topics.
Three of the topics share a common theme of having an international perspective on health data. The first day will focus on the “European Health Data Space (EHDS)”. What is it, and what implications will it have for us in Norway? Later in the day, participants can attend the session “Global Health” featuring examples of register work from abroad. On the second day, “International Comparisons” is one of the topics.
Health Data and Crises
Another session with a highly relevant theme is “Health Data in Difficult Times”, where we will examine how health data can play an important role in various challenging situations – for example, crises.
Additionally, you can attend the sessions “Equitable Health Services” and “What Should Hospitals Do Less Of?”.
On the second day of the conference, there will be parallel sessions, and as always, there will be a poster walk and the awarding of the best poster.
