The Centre for Clinical Documentation and Evaluation (SKDE) was established 20 years ago. We are marking this with a jubilee webinar on 1st November.

Follow along here to catch the webinar: Friday 1st November at 12:00—13:45. The webinar is open and free for everyone.

The programme includes a number of presentations on all the exciting work being done by staff at SKDE:

Health Atlas: One of the most common questions the analysis section at SKDE receives is “Will there be updated figures on already published health atlases?” The answer is yes, and which analyses we will start with will be revealed in the webinar.

Women's Health: We will take a closer look at how medical quality registers and health atlases can contribute to greater knowledge about women's health, and how they can aid in the work towards more equitable healthcare services.

Research: Two of our researchers will present findings from research on variations in the treatment of severe prostate cancer and severe heart attacks.

We will also present the assignment “What should hospitals do less of” which aims to reduce investigations and treatments with low or uncertain health benefits.

Additionally, the webinar will feature external guests who will share their perspectives and experiences regarding collaboration and the use of SKDE's data on healthcare.

— We hope that people will join the webinar – it will be useful for everyone interested in the quality and improvement of healthcare services, says SKDE director Eva Stensland.
